The Manchester Ethnography Network is a working group of academic scholars and practitioners of ethnography, based at Manchester Business School (The University of Manchester).

The Network is focused on sharing worldclass research, practice and discussion on ethnography of organisation. The Network is however an interdisciplinary group of researchers; coming together from sociological, anthropological, architectural, ‘scientific’, and business and management backgrounds. The Network extends to critical friends across UK universities, and with prestigious universities in Europe and beyond.

Our Network aims to develop a distinctive ‘Manchester School’ approach to the ethnographic study of organisations, based on the cutting edge work being developed at Manchester Business School in this area.
